Departamento de Yerba Buena
Yerba Buena is a department of the Province of Tucumán in the Argentine Republic. It is conformed by the municipality of Yerba Buena and the rural communes of Cebil Redondo, San Javier. It is bordered on the north by the Tafí Viejo department, on the east by the Capital department, and on the south and west by the Lules department. Its head is the homonymous city, turned into a municipality on December 28,1978. It has a population of 63,707 inhabitants. According to the INDEC in 2005, it had 64,661 inhabitants. According to CENSUS 2010, the department had 75,076 inhabitants.
