Trancoso
Trancoso is a Portuguese city belonging to the District of Guarda, statistical region of the Center and inter-municipal community of Beiras and Serra da Estrela, with about 10 000 inhabitants. It is the seat of a municipality with 364.54 km² of area and 10,889 inhabitants, subdivided into 29 parishes and bordering on the north with Penedono, on the northeast with Mêda, on the east with Pinhel, on the south with Celorico da Beira, on the southwest with Fornos de Algodres, to the west with Aguiar da Beira and to the northwest with Sernancelhe.
