Miguel Auza
Miguel Auza is one of the 58 municipalities that are located in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. The municipality is limited by the municipalities of Municipalities of Juan Aldama, Rio Grande and Sombrerete and limits to the north with the state of Durango. Its territorial extension is 1,097 km² and occupies 1.46% of the surface of the State. It was given this name in 1935 in honor of the illustrious General Miguel Auza Arrenechea, who was born in the city of Sombrerete, Zac., And was a hero in the Reformation War, at the Battle of Puebla on April 25,1863 and appointed by General Jesús González Ortega as: «Brave among the brave».
