Vega de Alatorre
The municipality of Vega de Alatorre is located in the central area of the State of Veracruz in the Totonac region, it is one of the 212 municipalities of the state. It is located at coordinates 20°02 "north latitude and 96°57" west longitude. The municipality consists of 65 localities in which a total of 18,507 people live, it is categorized as semi-urban. Vega de Alatorre has a regularly warm climate with abundant rainfall in summer and some more in autumn. The municipal seat, Vega de Alatorre, celebrates its traditional fair from July 24 to 26, in honor of Santa Ana, in the main park of the town.
In the first fortnight of May, in the locality of Emilio Carranza the Expo-regional, cattle and artisan fair is celebrated.
