Tlapacoyan
The municipality of Tlapacoyan is located in the central area of the State of Veracruz, in the region called Nautla. It is one of the 212 municipalities of the entity. It is located at an altitude of 430 meters above sea level. The municipality is composed of seventy localities in which 54,321 people live. It is a municipality categorized as urban. Tlapacoyan has a mainly warm climate with a rainy season in summer and some more in autumn. The municipality of Tlapacoyan celebrates its traditional festivities in honor of the patron saint of the town of Santiago Apóstol in the month of July.
