Oluta
The municipality of Oluta is located in the southern zone of Veracruz, Mexico, in the foothills of the Sotavento plains, at coordinates 17°56 "north latitude and 94°54" west longitude, at a height of 80 meters above the level from sea. It limits to the north with the municipality of Soconusco. To the east with Texistepec. To the southwest with Sayula de Alemán. To the west with Acayucan. Its approximate distance to the southeast of the state capital, by road is 371 km. Oluta del Nahuatl, Olotl-tan, means "Place between the olotes".
