Jáltipan
Jáltipan is a municipality and city in the Olmec Region of the state of Veracruz, Mexico. It was an important Popoluca region. In its surroundings, the Toltecs founded Huehuetlapalan. During the sixteenth century it was part of the province of Coatzacoalcos, by decree of May 21,1881, the town, rises to the category of Villa, with the name of Jáltipan de Morelos and on November 27,1953, the Villa obtains the political category of City.
