San Juan de Sabinas
The municipality of San Juan de Sabinas is one of the 38 municipalities in which the Mexican state of Coahuila de Zaragoza is divided, with headwaters in the city of Nueva Rosita, located in the north of the state in the so-called Carboniferous Region, gaining national and international notoriety in 2006 due to the accident that occurred in the Pasta de Conchos Mine, located in its territory.
