Múzquiz
Múzquiz is a Mexican municipality located in the state of Coahuila de Zaragoza in the north of the country with a population according to the Intercensal Survey 2015 of 69 102 inhabitants of which more than half reside in the municipal seat, Ciudad Melchor Múzquiz. The name is in honor of the military man born in his territory and who became president of Mexico in 1832, his previous name was Santa Rosa Maria del Sacramento, was founded as a Spanish prison in 1725.
