Naranjos Amatlán
Naranjos Amatlán is a municipality belonging to the north of the Mexican state of Veracruz, in the region known as the Huasteca Alta. The head of the municipality is the city of Naranjos. It has a population of 27 548 inhabitants, according to the XII General Census of Population and Housing of the INEGI of 2010. The municipality has a territorial extension of 201 square kilometers, which represents 0.28% of the total of the state of Veracruz. It is watered by the Tancochín River. Its climate is tropical, with an acidic temperature the annual average of 23.5 degrees Celsius. In the region of the Sierra de Otontepec and the Laguna de Tamiahua.
