Amaxac de Guerrero
Amaxac de Guerrero is one of the 60 municipalities that constitute the Mexican state of Tlaxcala. It is located in the center of the state and approximately 9 kilometers east of the city of Tlaxcala de Xicohténcatl. It has a territorial extension of 12,870 km². With a total population of 9,875 inhabitants of which 5,056 are women and 4,819 men, according to the Census of Population and Housing Closure 2010. Its name comes from Nahuatl and is interpreted as: "Where the water forks".
