Elota
The municipality of Elota is located in the south-central part of the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. Its municipal head is La Cruz, commonly known as "La Cruz de Elota". Its main economic activity is agriculture, which places Elota as one of the municipalities with the highest production of vegetables in the state and the country, also highlights the livestock, fisheries and in a smaller proportion but increasingly developing tourism, especially in the margins of the coast, in the dam "Aurelio Benassinni" and now in Elota that was named "Pueblo Señorial".
