Othón P. Blanco
Othón P. Blanco is one of the 11 municipalities in which the Mexican state of Quintana Roo is divided. Its head is the city of Chetumal, which is also the capital of the state. On February 2,2011, the Congress of Quintana Roo segregated the Municipality of Othon P. Blanco from the municipality of Bacalar, so all the data in this article predate said change and are therefore outdated. Its name is in honor of Othón P. Blanco, colonizer of the region and founder of Chetumal.
