Salina Cruz
Salina Cruz is a city and port of the State of Oaxaca. Located in the Gulf of Tehuantepec, in the Southeast of Mexico. Salina Cruz has a refinery, several salt mines, a shipyard and is one of the 10 most important ports in Mexico, according to the 2010 population and housing count, the city has 76 596 inhabitants. As a city it is placed as the third most populous state and as the fourth municipal level with a population of 89 211 inhabitants behind Oaxaca de Juárez, San Juan Bautista Tuxtepec and Juchitán de Zaragoza. The average age of the municipal population is 26 years, the average age of men is 25 years and the average age of women is 27 years.
