Xalisco
The city of Xalisco is a city of the Mexican state of Nayarit and head of the homonymous municipality. According to data from the INEGI of 2010, it has 60,000 inhabitants, being the second city by population of the state, adjacent to Tepic, the capital of the state, together they form the metropolitan area of Tepic with 521 142 inhabitants in an area of 2274 square kilometers. It is an important agricultural and commercial center with a remarkable livestock industry, corn, sugar cane, lemon and avocado.
