Pátzcuaro
Pátzcuaro is a city in the Mexican state of Michoacán. In antiquity it was part of the dominion of the Huacusechas, the land of the natives that the Spaniards called Tarascos and that now are called purépechas. Patzcuaro is categorized by the Ministry of Tourism as one of the Magical Towns. It is the head of the municipality of the same name. Its main subjects or holdings are Cuanajo, Tzurumútaro, Janitzio and San Juan Tumbio.
