Zacualpan
The Municipality of Zacualpan is one of the 125 municipalities in which the State of Mexico is divided, located in the south of the state on the border with Guerrero, its head is the Real de Minas Zacualpan. Its head is the oldest mining center in the continent, which is why it is known for its mining activity still very present in everyday life. Zacualpan is located in the southern part of the State of Mexico, 40 minutes from the Magic Town of Ixtapan de la Sal, 1 hour 50 minutes from the state capital Toluca and 2 hours and a half from Mexico City.
The town was named "Pueblo con Encanto" of the State of Mexico in the 2006-2009 administration, due to the mining activity, the colonial constructions and the surrounding landscape.
