Villa Corona
Villa Corona is a municipality and population of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is located in the center of the state, in the Central Region. Formerly it was called "Tizapanito", its territorial extension is 179.37 km². According to the II count of population and housing, the municipality has 16,969 inhabitants and is mainly dedicated to the tertiary sector, because of its location it plays an important role in the economic development of the region and the state. In addition, it is an important tourist point to have three of the most recognized spas in the state. The municipality is also known for being the cradle of two bands of music with great importance in Mexico: the Machos band and the Maguey band.
