Ecatepec de Morelos pronunciation is one of the 125 municipalities that make up the State of Mexico. It is located to the northeast of the entity and to the north of the Valley of Mexico, limiting to the south with Mexico City and being part of the metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico.
