Chiapa de Corzo
Chiapa de Corzo is a municipality in the center of the Mexican state of Chiapas. The municipality has about 87,000 inhabitants and an area of 833.4 km ². The administrative headquarters and largest city of the Municipal is the same name Pueblo Mágico Chiapa de Corzo. The name Corzo in the community name honors the former governor Chiapas' Ángel Albino Corzo. The Tuxtla Gutierrez Airport and part of the Cañón del Sumidero National Park are located within the territory of the municipality, which in turn is part of the Metropolitan Zone of Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
