King County
King County is located in the US state of Washington. Its population according to the census of the year 2000 was of 1.737.034, and in 2007 it was estimated of 1.859.284. By population, King County is the largest in the state of Washington, and number 14 among the most populated in the United States of America. It is one of the most advanced educational counties in the nation and approximately half of its population has a university degree. The county seat is the city of Seattle, which is also the largest city in the state of Washington. About two thirds of the population lives in the vicinity of the city.
King County is also in the ranking of the 100 counties with the highest income in the United States of America.
