Uintah County
Uintah County is a county in the state of Utah, United States. In 2000 its population was 25,224 inhabitants, it is estimated that in 2005 it was 26,995 inhabitants. It receives its name from the tribe of the natives of the area, the Ute Indians. Its capital and largest city is Vernal. Located just outside of Vernal, the county airport, it has daily flights to Salt Lake City, Utah.
