Elko County
Elko County is located in the western part of the state of Nevada, in the United States of America. According to the Census of the United States of the 2000 its population was of 45.291 inhabitants. As of July 1,2009, the population of Elko County was estimated at 51,325. The county seat is Elko. The county was organized on March 5,1869, from Lander County. By surface, Elko County is the fourth largest county in the United States.
