Ward County
Ward County, founded in 1885, is one of the 53 counties of the US state of North Dakota. In the year 2000 it had a population of 58,975 inhabitants and a population density of 11 people per km² The county seat is Minot, the seat was in Burlington until 1888. Until 1910, Ward County includes what is now County of Burke, County of Mountrail and County of Renville.
