Amador County
Amador County is one of the 58 counties of the US state of California. The county seat and largest city is Jackson. The county has an area of 1,566 km², a population of 35,100 inhabitants, and a population density of 23 inhabitants / km². This county was founded in 1854. It was named in memory of Californio José María Amador, brother of Sinforosa Amador.
