Dakota County
Dakota County, founded in 1855 and named after the Sioux tribe of the Dakota, is a county in the US state of Nebraska. In the year 2000 it had a population of 20,253 inhabitants with a population density of 30 people per km². The county seat is Dakota City although the largest city is South Sioux City.
