Marquette County
Marquette County is a US county located in the state of Michigan. According to the 2000 United States Census, the population is 64,634 inhabitants with a population density of 17 people per km². The county seat is Marquette, in the county are the Huron Mountains, it has three national parks and several lakes. The University of Northern Michigan is located in the county capital and also hosts the United States Olympic Educational Center.
