City of Charlottesville
Charlottesville is a city located in Albemarle County, Virginia in the United States. According to data from the 2003 census, its population was 39,162 inhabitants. The most famous citizen was Thomas Jefferson, who created the University of Virginia and who became the third president of the United States. His residence, just outside of Charlottesville, was called Monticello, which in Italian means "little mountain". The Charlottesville City Schools manages public schools.
