Carroll County
Carroll County is a county in the US state of Missouri. In the 2000 census the county had a population of 10,285 inhabitants. The county seat is Carrollton. The county was formed on January 2,1833 from a portion of Ray County. It was named in honor of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence of the United States.
