Queen Anne's County
Queen Anne County is a county in eastern Baltimore located in the state of Maryland. In 2000, its population was 40,563. Its headquarters are in Centerville. It was named in honor of Queen Anne of Great Britain who reigned at the time of the county's founding. The county is part of the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge connects Queen Anne County on the east bank with Anne Arundel County on the west bank.
