Campbell County
Campbell County is a county in the US state of Kentucky. In the 2000 census the county had a population of 88,616 inhabitants. The county seat is Alexandria. The county was formed on November 17,1794 from portions of Scott, Harrison and Mason counties. It was named in honor of Colonel John Campbell, who fought in the War of Independence of the United States.
