Oconee County
Oconee County, founded in 1875, is one of 159 counties in the US state of Georgia. In 2007, the county had a population of 31,367 inhabitants and a population density of 55 people per km². The county seat is Watkinsville, and the county is named after James Oconee. Oconee County is part of the Metropolitan Area of Athens - Clarke County.
