Province of Isla de Pascua
The Province of Easter Island, is an administrative division of Chile that is located in the insular sector of the Valparaíso Region, has an area of 163.6 km² and has a population of 5,761 inhabitants. Its capital is Hanga Roa. Apart from Easter Island, the province includes the small and uninhabited island Sala y Gómez, located hundreds of kilometers further east. It is the only Chilean province located in Oceania and enjoys the status of "special regime", with attributions similar to that of a regional government.
