Departamento de Lago Argentino
Lago Argentino is a department of the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. It is located in the southwest of said province, bounded on the north by the department of Río Chico, on the south by Güer Aike, on the east by Corpen Aike and on the west by the Republic of Chile. The department has an extensive lake basin, with the lake that gives it the name as the most important, as well as the majestic attraction of the presence of the Perito Moreno Glacier and other glaciers of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, landscapes protected by the Los Glaciers.
