Departamento de Santa Lucía
Santa Lucia or City of Santa Lucia, is a department in the province of San Juan. Located in the center south of it, east of the city of San Juan. In its scarce 45 km², two ways of life are combined, rural and urban, as it has an important population load, being also one of the departments that make up the Greater San Juan agglomerate and with an important agricultural activity. Economically vines, hotalizas and varied fruits are produced, also numerous industries are located, dedicated to the preservation of food products. It is very visited in the month of December, for the annual celebration of the National Festival of Santa Lucia, with artistic events of all kinds, traveling exhibitions and so on.
