Cantón Jipijapa
Jipijapa, also Xipixapa. It is a canton located south of the province of Manabí. In the coastal strip of Ecuador. The tradition tells that its name is derived from an Indian cacique from the place Xipixapa. Its surface is 1,420 km². The canton Jipijapa has 71,083 inhabitants with an Economically Active Population of 20,561 people.
