Cantón Vinces
Canton Vinces is one of the 13 cantons that make up the Ecuadorian province of Los Ríos. It is one of the oldest cantons of the province. The Vinces canton has an extension of 693km2. In the 2010 census it has a population of 71,736 inhabitants, divided into 34,655 men and 37,081 women.61% of its population lives in the rural area, it is characterized as a population of young people, since around 44% of the population are under 20 years of age. Its cantonal head is the city of Vinces, place where a large part of its total population is grouped.
