Departamento de Saladas
Saladas is a department of the province of Corrientes, in the northeast of Argentina, that occupies 1981 km² in the northwest region of the province. It limits the north with the departments Empedrado and Mburucuyá, to the west with the department Concepción and to the south with the departments San Roque and Bella Vista, department this last one with which also has borders to the west. The head of the department is the homonymous Saladas. Along with it, San Lorenzo is the other main population center of the department. According to the 2010 census, 222 244 people lived in the department.
