Partido de Tandil
Tandil is one of the 135 parties of the Argentine province of Buenos Aires. It is part of the Fifth Electoral Section of the Province of Buenos Aires. Its head is the city of Tandil. The party is divided into twelve barracks. It occupies an area of 4,935 km², with a density of 20.5 inhabitants / km². It was created on July 19,1865. Although it has its origins in the "Fort Independence" founded on April 4,1823 by the then Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires Brigadier Martin Rodriguez and that would be the date taken as the foundation. Its main economic activities are agriculture and livestock.
