Partido de Zárate
Zárate is one of the 135 matches of the Argentine province of Buenos Aires. It occupies 1202 km². With a population of 111 597 inhabitants, it has a density of 95 inhabitants / km². It is located on the banks of the Paraná de las Palmas river. Its head and most populated locality is the city of Zárate, which is considered the provincial capital of tango, for the works of the brothers Homero and Virgilio Expósito and Armando Pontier, as well as being the national capital of pigeon racing.
