District of Rutland
Rutland is one of the forty-seven counties of England, United Kingdom, with capital in Oakham. Located in the East Midlands region, it is bordered on the north and east by Lincolnshire, on the south by Northamptonshire and on the west by Leicestershire, with an area of 382 km² it is the smallest of all the counties. The two main cities are Oakham, the capital, and Uppingham. The center of the county is a large nature reserve, Rutland Water. The city of Stamford is located right on the edge of Lincolnshire. The highest point of the county is located in the park Cold Overton, with an altitude of 197 ms s. N. M.
