Gǝncǝ
Ganyá is the second city of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the Czarist period it was called Elizavétpol and during the Soviet rule Kirovabad. Ganyá is on the two banks of the Ganyáchay river, a tributary of the Kurá. On November 21,2013, it was chosen as the European Youth Capital in 2016.
