Qeqqata
Qeqqata is a municipality in western Greenland, operational from January 1,2009. It consists of two former municipalities of western Greenland: Maniitsoq and Sisimiut, as well as the previously unincorporated area of Kangerlussuaq. The municipality was named for its location in the central-western part of the country, with a population of 9,620 inhabitants. The administrative center of the municipality is in Sisimiut.
