Prince Edward Island commonly abbreviated PE, is one of the ten provinces that, together with the three territories, make up the thirteen federal entities of Canada. Its capital and most populous city is Charlottetown. Located in the east of the country, it is an island surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and separated from New Brunswick by the Northumberland Strait. With 139 407 habs.
