Corozal
Corozal is a municipality in the central region, slightly to the north of Puerto Rico. Founded in 1795 by Joaquín Marrero and José de Rivera Ortiz. It became an official municipality in 1804 and is also known as «the capital of volleyball» and «Los Plataneros».
