Aibonito
Aibonito is a municipality in the central region of Puerto Rico. Founded on March 13,1824 by Manuel Vélez. Its name derives from a name given by the Indians jatibonuco which means "river of the night", although there is also a legend that derives from the expression relative to how beautiful it is, also known as «The City of Flowers». The patron is Santiago Apóstol and the parish is «San José». Aibonito is divided into eight neighborhoods and Aibonito Pueblo, the urban and administrative center of the Municipality of Aibonito.
