Aiga-i-le-Tai is a district of Samoa. The capital is Mulifanua. It is located at the western end of Upolu and includes the three small islands in the Apollima Strait. Aiga-i-le-Tai surrounds an exclave of the district of A'ana, the village of Satuimalufilufi. With an area of only 27 square kilometers, it is the smallest district in Samoa. The district has a population of 4,508. Only Va'a-o-Fonoti has a smaller population. The preeminent local title in the Aiga-i-le-Tai is Leiataua. The district is also an important leg of the Sa Malietoa clan. Manono plays an important part in the election of the Malietoa title-holders, since Malie must consult it in deliberations. Therefore the importance of the title of Malietoa in this district.
Historically, the naval power of Manono and Apolima played an important role in the struggle of political power among the national clans. Today, the port in Mulifanua is the second most important port in Upolu and is the main transport hub linking Upolu and Savai'i.
