Treinta y Tres
Treinta y Tres is one of the nineteen departments that make up the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Its capital is the namesake Treinta y Tres. It is located in the east of the country, bounded on the north by Cerro Largo, on the east by the Merín lagoon that separates it from Brazil, on the south by Lavalleja and Rocha, and on the west by Florida and Durazno. With 48 134 rooms. In 2011 it is the second least populated department - ahead of Flores - and with 5 hab / km² it is the third least densely populated, ahead of Durazno and Flores, the least densely populated.
