Southern Peninsula
Suðurnes is a region located in the southwest of Iceland, on the Reykjanes peninsula. It has a population of 20,415 inhabitants. Its capital is Keflavík. It hosts the Keflavík International Airport, the main entry point for Iceland, and the geothermal resort of Bláa lónið.
