Saint Michael
The parish of Saint Michael houses Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, named after the bridges over the Careenage, the city is the center of Barbados' commercial activity, as well as the center of the public transport network. St. Michael is home to prestigious schools, such as Combermere, Harrison College or the St. Michael School and various government offices. In the capital of Barbados we can also find the international port, of vital importance, since most of the tourism that arrives at the island does it through cruises.
